Just one look at that smile and you know you should feel sorry for Mable!

Color sorting pompoms.

Forget color sorting and on to just playing with the pompoms.

Wed.

Lilly and Grace helped get Thomas up from his nap yesterday. They saw the Eeyore costume in the closet...so...he just had to wear it!

Saw this shirt in the store the other day and had to buy it for godfather Dan.

His corn craft from the library storytime today. I thought it was so cute just had to share it.

My latest project, a car playmat.

"School" - Day 2

Today our theme was the letter A. We did an alphabet puzzle...or attempted to do an alphabet puzzle. The letters are still a bit small for him but he did pretty well.

Sticking our letter A's down.

The cheesy smile and the journal page for the day.

Extra-curricular activity of the day: putting a hat on poor Mable.

"School"

We did it. We started "school". I most likely will continue to include the quotes on school until I get an actual degree that says I am capable of molding young ones minds! He did great...okay...so as great as a not-even-two-year-old-yet can!

Our theme today was the alphabet.
We talked about it, sang the song and put up letters on the window.
He sang a little bit of the alphabet song to me this afternoon,
so I know he is picking some stuff up.

Below he is concentrating really hard on stringing beads. Although he would rather be pulling it around pretending it was a caterpillar.

Drawing in his school "journal". We are going to do a page for each day of school. Today we wrote alphabet on the page and then he colored on it.

Thomas with his "school" journal.

I saw this "Cozy Car Caddy" over on a blog I read called "Homemade by Jill". It looked like a great idea for an easy, not to mention compact, toy take along. My sewing skills are getting better, S-L-O-W-L-Y, so I thought I would try it.

TA DA!
It is all done and it rolls up and fits easily into my bag!

Whispering Pines Horse Stable

Thomas and I joined a "Mommy & Me" group and today they had a visit to a local horse stable. He really enjoyed it! I thought that he would be scared of the horses...boy was I wrong! He went straight up to them, no problem. Here he is riding Hans the horse. He only asked for Mommy once and then he was good.
It was a great excuse to wear his cowboy boots...which he got a ton of compliments on!

This is Sweet William or Willie.
Thomas got a complete 360 degree tour of Willie and even got to feed him a cookie.

Here he got to watch a horse being shoed.
Mommy thought this was very interesting!

A hay bale tunnel! Boy did the kiddos like this!!!

They even had a station set up to let the kids make hats. He put a horse, TV, a horseshoe and some flowers on his hat.

Eating a cookie and wearing his hat.

blueberry pancakes

We had homemade blueberry pancakes for breakfast. Boy are those things messy! Thank goodness for Shout wipes (thank you Becky!). Thomas looks relatively clean compared to Miss. Mia bug but really the mess just wasn't on his face...it was on his bottom?!!!

Miss. Mia was covered! I think she was just ready for an outfit change!

S.C. Trip Continued

We had a quick visit with Beth and Charlotte Shine. We made plans to actually get to talk to each other in twenty years! Most of the time was spent chasing around two crazy toddlers.

Not sure I could have asked for a better picture!

The kiddos playing the piano.

Hugs...so sweet!

Cousin Amanda and her sweet daughter Norah!

Aunt Linda and Thomas horsing around.

This is actually on Aunt Denyse and Uncle Rick's boat. Once again I failed to take any decent pictures. This picture was taken before Thomas went crazy and decided he hates boats!

Thomas and Aunt Bob having a giggle!
