Family Time

Thursday and Friday we were in Union and mainly hung out at my Grandparent's house. Thomas enjoyed spending time with all of our relatives. In the above picture Thomas was supposed to be taking a nap but Snowball the cat had other ideas! Snowball pushed open the door and stared at Thomas until he woke up. Thomas of course had a GREAT time talking to and looking at the cat!!!

Aunt Linda and Aunt Betty got Thomas a Spongebob hat...if it were only a little bit bigger Dad might have stolen it!

Sitting on Great-Grandpa Doil's lap and trying his best to grab that super cool mustache!
Sitting on Grandpa Aron's lap and successfully grabbing his beard!

Chillin' with Grandma Paulette! I think he was getting ready to go down for his "cat" nap in this picture!

Great-Grandma Maria feeding him and Aunt Linda stealing a kiss.

He stopped squirming long enough to take a good picture with Great-Grandma Maria!

Aunt Linda feeding him!

Aunt Linda said she knew he would love her because she was crazy! She was right...he LOVES her and was giggling at her funny faces!

He certainly loved his Aunt Linda and her crazy antics but he loved his Aunt Betty and her sweet voice just as much!

Antley Springs

We spent Wednesday with my cousins Becky and Sidney. We roamed around their property, Antley Springs, ate some good Greek food and went to the Orangeburg rose gardens. Thomas also rolled around on the floor with their puppies!

A whirlwind Tuesday!

Tuesday was a whirlwind trip to Columbia! First we went to visit Vickie and Rita at USC, we also saw Patrick...who we had dinner with later! Thomas made himself at home on the floor in the office! He also "helped" Vickie with her work...and by "helped" I mean banged on her keyboard until the thing almost blew-up!!! I enjoyed getting to visit with Rita and Vickie both and to see the changes to the stadium first hand!!!

Then we went to lunch with my cousin Graham and his girlfriend Paige! I hadn't seen them in several years so it was awesome...I think Thomas enjoyed himself too!

For dinner we went to Beth and Patrick's house, or maybe I should say Charlotte's house, for dinner! I have not seen Charlotte since she was just a few days old! She has grown into a super cute and talkative little one!

Monday with Aunt Denyse and Uncle Rick

On Monday we stayed with Aunt Denyse and Uncle Rick at their house on Lake Murray. We had a great time hanging out, wandering around the beautifully landscaped "yard", and playing with Samantha (their dog).

Uncle Rick worked hard that morning to get the boat fixed so we could go on a ride! Thomas wore his fisherman's hat, just like Uncle Rick! He had the best time driving the boat (and by driving I mean smacking the wheel)!!!

The other time on the boat was spent in Aunt Denyse's lap!

Our Day With Ashlyn, Jeanita and Miss. Becky

We spent Sunday with Ashlyn (our god daughter) her Mom Jeanita, and her Grandma Miss. Becky. We went to the spring fling in Spartanburg, SC and had lots of fun! Ashlyn was very helpful with Thomas. She helped me wash his bottles and she helped me feed him!

I got to go on one ride with Ashlyn...a jumpy jump and we had lots of fun!

Ashlyn reading to Thomas out of his TAZ book.

Thomas thanking her!

Tidbit...or should I say TOOTHbit!

We made it back from S.C. safe and sound! I am currently charging the camera so I can upload the pictures! We had a great time and miss everyone already.

Thomas is a wonderful little traveler and breezed right through the hectic schedule!

Although we have yet to catch pictures of it Thomas' first tooth poked through the gum this last week. It is still barely raised but it is there and man is it SHARP! It is on the bottom, in the front - left side. The right side is starting to break through right next to it. MILESTONES!

Spring Fling - Spartanburg, S.C.

We made it safely to S.C. (and Tommy made it safely back to Indiana)! We spent Saturday with my Parents, Grandparents and Aunts...I am not sure Thomas was ever put down! Saturday night we ate dinner with our goddaughter Ashlyn, her mom Jeanita and her grandma Becky. Today we went to the "Spring Fling" in Spartanburg and had a ton of fun...Thomas even had his very own snowball stand!!!
mmmmm....ice cream!

Thomas enjoyed himself riding around in the stroller.

Ashlyn got her face painted...as a kitty cat "meeee-ow"!

Jeanita and I got our exercise pushing the kiddos!

We are off to Aunt Denyse's tomorrow, Columbia on Tuesday and Becky's on Wednesday!!!
We are having lots of fun but BOY DO WE MISS DADDY!

Baptismal Outfits

Thomas is scheduled to be baptized (why does the S change to a Z?) in New Orleans at the end of May. Aunt Megan and Aunt Melanie have been on the look out for a snazzy outfit for him to wear and they hit the jackpot! They sent several different choices but the one above is the winner! The other ones were super cute but man-baby Thomas is already too small for them. The 3-piece suit they picked up is actually 18 months!!!

Tommy will be dropping Thomas and I off in South Carolina tomorrow for a week. We are going to visit lots of family and friends and promise to update the blog upon our return!
